with her curse. The moon fairies are one of
the many types of magical races and a very
special one, giving tributes to the moon so
they can live without problems. While for
other races gold is necessary to survive, a
moon fairy needs the gold coins to live.
A blessing turned into curse
These special kind of fairies were created by the Fairy
God as a gift to the Moon Godess, but the divine lady
didn’t aprecciate the attempt and cursed these moon
children.
The magical blessing was given by the Fairy God to
his children, they had to pray to the moon every night so
their magical skills would be enhanced. However, the
Fairy God’s lover turned this blessing into a curse, now
the moon children aren’t bound to their prayers towards
the moon, but have to pay a tribute in gold to maintain
their form.

Moon Fairy traits
Your moon powers and fairy heritage manifest in a
variety of traits.
Creature type. You are a Fey.
Size. You are Small (50-60cm).
Speed. Your walking speed is 30 feet.
Ability Score Increase. Your Intelligence score
increases by 2, and your Wisdom score increases by 1.
Age. Young moon fairies grow quickly. They are
immortal, but moon fairies tend to fail the moon
payment around 300.
Flight. Because of your wings, you have a flying speed
equal to your walking speed. You can’t use this flying
speed if you’re wearing medium or heavy armor.
Fairie Magic. You know the druidcraft cantrip.
Starting at 3rd level, you can cast the faerie fire spell
with this trait. Once you cast it, you can’t cast that spell
again until you finish a long rest. You can also cast that
spell using a spell slot of the appropriate level.
Moon Debt. You have to pay your debt to the moon
every night. If you don’t pay, your character will shrink
5cm. If your size reaches 0cm, you die. To pay your debt
you have to be looking directly at the moon. The default
debt is 1 GP per night. If your debt is higher than 5 GP,
you shrink (5 x debt/5)cm always rounding up.
Moon Magic. You can increase your debt to defend
yourself or others. As your reaction you can cast a Moon
Shield that protects yourself or a target within 60ft of
you from an offensive magic. If one or more allies are
5ft away you can choose to protect them with you. The
Moon Shield level is determined by your debt (5 GP per
level). If the attacking spell’s level is smaller than or
equal to the Moon Shield level it blocks all the damage,
if not the damage is reduced by: damage blocked = spell
damage/(levels above x 2).
You can cast the Remove Curse spell by increasing
your debt by 20 GP.
You can cast these spells a number of times equal to
your proficiency bonus per long rest.
