December 811 West Yellowstone Winter Wonderland Rendezvous . The Winter Wonderland Rendezvous was conceived as an economical getaway for families to enjoy a weekend together in the company of other Christians. We study God's word, worship, sing praises and enjoy outdoor winter activities. The truth of God's Word is delivered by speakers from all over the United States. The fellowship is sweet and has taken the form of an exciting family reunion with the annual renewal of relationships, heartfelt hugs, and updates. With 400 to 500 voices singing together, the songs are powerfully and wonder fully encouraging and as invigorating as the weather. The schedule begins Friday evening with songs and a lesson. More singing and two lessons follow on Saturday morning. Saturday afternoon is spent however you wish to spend it...either shopping the streets of our small town or for the more adventurous, on snowmobiles, cross-country skis, snowshoes and even ice skates. Saturday evening we all gather again over a sit-down, catered dinner followed by more glorious singing and a another lesson. Sunday morning begins with bible study and continues with a worship service. Lodging, three meals on Saturday and breakfast on Sunday are covered by the registration fee which is intentionally kept
Jean Falley has accepted the position of Administrative Assistant. WELCOME JEAN!!! New Deadline For Bulletin Information: In an effort to communicate to everyone more efficiently, Bulletins for the upcoming Sunday will be e-mailed to everyone the Wednesday before. All information for that bulletin needs to be given to Lisa White by Monday morning. (When the Administrative Assistant is hired, all information will be sent to that person.) If you have more news that you send after Monday morning, thats ok. It will be in the next bulletin. Orphans Lifeline representatives spoke with us last Sunday. They greatly appreciate all the help we have been giving, and continue to give, each month. Orphans Lifeline is an organization that provides orphan care, childrens homes, education, emergency aid, child development, and advocacy to over 20,000 orphans around the world. They do this by providing quality food and supplements, clothing, hygiene products and care, shelter and a safe environment, medicine and medical treatment, inoculation from disease, adequate staff of caregivers to provide daily needs , and more. What can you do? You can log on to www.orphanslifeline.org and learn more about the worlds orphan crisis. You can Pray; Make a commitment; Be involved with the congregation with giving (the congregation has been committed to giving $1,000 per month. This goal has fallen short for several months. Lets work together to get back to our goal of giving. Money designated for Orphans Lifeline may be placed in the contribution tray or handed to Shaun Peterson); You can become a donating partner and interact with the children through e-mail and letters; Tell others about this important Orphan Mission Work; and Advocate and promote adoption.
