III. PROCEDURE
A. REVIEW
Have a short review of of the lesson during their modular week.

B. MOTIVATION
Let the students answer the jumbled letters that will be projected.

C. ACTIVITIES
The students will proceed to answer the pretest on the new lesson. After answering the
prestest, the students will check their respective papers. The activities centers on their previous
knowledge on identifying general statement.

Sample Item:
General Statement:
 Baldo loves to play catch.
 He loves it when I pretend like I’m falling dead, and he runs over to lick me.
 He follows me around the house with a toy and drops it on my foot.
A. Baldo is a trained dog.
B. Baldo is a player.
C. Baldo can catch anything.
D. Baldo is so much fun to play with.

answers on a separate sheet of paper.
Sun exposure is linked to skin cancer. This is the most common type of cancer in the world. It’s best to limit
your time spent in the sun. Be sure to wear protective clothing and hats when you are outside. Use sunscreen
year-round on exposed skin, like your face and hands. It protects your skin and helps prevent skin cancer.
Choose a broad-spectrum sunscreen that blocks both UVA and UVB rays. It should be at least an SPF 15. Do
not sunbathe or use tanning booths.
