I.OBJECTIVES
A. Content Standards The learner demonstrates understanding of how Anglo-American
literature and other text types serve as means of connecting to the
world; also how to use ways of analyzing one-act play and different
forms of verbal for him/her to skillfully perform in a one-act play.
B. Performance The learner skillfully performs in one-act play through utilizing
Standards effective verbal and non-verbal strategies and ICT resources based
on the following criteria: Focus, Voice, Delivery, and Dramatic
Conventions.
C. Learning
Differentiate biases from prejudices. ENG9LC-IVf-13.3
Competencies
D. Specific Objectives At the end of the lesson, learners are able to;
1. make judgment based on given scenarios;
2. differentiate biases from prejudices through examples;
3. weigh information to make decisions; and
4. supply correct answers to given exercises.

A. Initiating Phase
 Opening Prayer Call a class representative to lead the universal prayer.
 Greetings “Good morning class”
 Classroom
Management The teacher lets the students to arrange their chairs properly and
pick pieces of papers on the floor.

Attendance The teacher calls the name of the students.
 Setting of Class Rules before the start of the lesson
Rules 1. Sit properly
2. Listen to the teacher carefully.
3. Do not talk to your seatmate while the
class is ongoing.
4. Raise your hand if you want to answer.
 Review of previous Ask the previous lesson and let them answer the questions

Imagery is a literary device used in poetry, novels, and other writing


that uses vivid description that appeals to a readers’ senses to
create an image or idea in their head. Through language, imagery
does not only paint a picture, but aims to portray the sensational and
emotional experience within text.

The types of imagery are visual imagery, auditory imagery, gustatory


imagery, tactile imagery, and olfactory imagery.
