This paper presents a model for determining the critical buckling load of self-supporting lattice towers. The model considers the tower as a pin-jointed structure composed of beam-column elements. It uses Euler buckling theory and considers the effects of axial and shear forces as well as bending moments on the beam-column elements to calculate the tower's critical buckling load.
