RESOLUTION NO. 3
Series of 2023

A RESOLUTION CONCURRING TO THE APPOINTMENT OF MR. ALDY JOHN M. SAN JUAN

AS THE SANGGUNIANG KABATAAN SECRETARY OF BARANGAY PUHAGAN, VALENCIA,
NEGROS ORIENTAL

WHEREAS, Section 7 of the Republic Act 10742, otherwise known as the Sangguniang
Kabataan Treasurer shall be appointed by the Sangguniang Kabataan Chairperson (SK
Person) with the concurrence of the majority of all the SK (SK Members) from among the
members of the KK;

WHEREAS, RA 11768 was enacted and amended among others, Section 10 of RA 10742,
which provides that the Sangguniang Kabataan Treasurer must be at least eighteen (18)
years and not more than thirty (30) years old on the day of the appointment;

WHEREAS, RA 11768 added that the Sangguniang Kabataan Chairperson shall appoint a
Sangguniang Kabataan Treasurer with educational or career background relating to
business management, accountancy, finance, economic and bookkeeping ;
WHEREAS, Mr. Aldy John M. San Juan possesses all the qualifications for the Sangguniang
Kabataan Treasurer as provided under Republic Act 10742 and 11768;

NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved and it is hereby resolved to confirm the appointment of

Mr. Aldy John M. San Juan of Barangay Puhagan, Valencia Negros Oriental until the end of
the term of the appointing authority unless sooner removed.

RESOLVED FURTHER, that Mr. Aldy John M. San Juan shall undergo the mandatory
bookkeeping training from the duly certified Technical, Educational Skills Development
Authority (TESDA) before assumption to office;

RESOLVED FINALLY, that copy of this resolution be given to Mr. Aldy John M. San Juan for
his file, copy furnish the DILG Municipal Local Government Operations Officer and the Local
Youth Development Office of Valencia Negros Oriental for their information and records.
