Visa supports the development of female entrepreneurship in Moldova and

launches a mentoring and educational program on the digital platform She's Next
The She's Next digital platform functions as a professional social network and brings together
entrepreneurs and women leaders from Moldova and the entire region of Eastern and Southeastern
Europe, Central Asia and the Caucasus. She's Next offers tools for networking, exchange of experience

Chisinau – October 6 Visa launched an online education program on the She's Next digital community
platform for women from the Republic of Moldova who want to start or develop a business. The online
courses are part of the XY Accelerator II women's mentoring program and offer opportunities for
networking, sharing experiences and expanding small businesses.
The education program was launched on 6 October and brought together representatives from the
Ministry of Economic Development and Digitalization, the banking system and UN Women. The purpose
of the mentoring program supported by Visa is to empower women entrepreneurs in Moldova and help
them conceptualize their product, register their first sales and build prosperous businesses.
By enrolling in the program, participants will be able to learn from the best practitioners in the fields of
business, marketing and personal branding and will have access to an international community where
they can meet potential mentors, clients and investors. Among the main topics of the online trainings
are: obtaining financing for starting a business, building a productive team, using tools for planning and

The XY Accelerator II Mentoring Program is also supported by maib, which will provide bonuses and
business growth opportunities for participants. Present at the event, Aliona Stratan, First Deputy
Chairwoman, maib reiterated the continuous support of maib in the growth of female entrepreneurship
in Moldova.

The She’s Next initiative was launched in the country in 2023 in collaboration with UN Women, USAID
and Agora and supported by the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Moldova. Alongside the initiative,
Visa announced the launch of the She's Next digital community platform for women entrepreneurs,
created in partnership with Emerging Europe. The purpose of the platform is to unite entrepreneurs
from different countries and create opportunities for networking, exchange of experiences and
international business expansion.
