OBJECTIVE
Summary for the Month of July regarding activities performed and jobs observed.

ACTIVITIES PERFORMED
1. Added daily shift-notes on SAP (using shn1 transaction).
2. Involved in revision of lubrication and greasing plan for Ammonia Plant Machinery.
3. Involved in filling checklist for G-301-B overhauling.
4. Involved in following activities during shutdown of DAP Plant (01-Aug-2023)
a. Replacement of bearing for Granulator DB-121.
b. Replacement of conveyor belt on discharge side of Dryer (DF-141)
c. Buckets and bolts inspection for bucket elevator DM-221.
d. Inspection for conveyors DM-223 and DM-222.

JOBS OBSERVED
1. Witnessed weekly oil lubrication and greasing activities for Ammonia Plant machinery.
2. Witnessed ratcheting activity for loop-A Synthesis Gas compressor (K-306-A) during
shutdown.
3. Observed jobs on aqueous ammonia pump G-301-B for mitigating high vibrations.
a. Reinforcement on the pump skid
b. Alignment done using rim and face alignment method.
c. Grouting filling on top of the pump skid.
d. Pump overhauling activity

 4. Observed different inspection activities including DPT, hardness test and Positive
Material Identification during inspection lot processing.

SELF-STUDY AND COURSE ATTENDED

1. Training and validation for CSM.
2. Studied Area-Specific for Synthesis Gas Compressor K-306-B.
3. Studying Area General of Ammonia Plant (in-progress).
4. Studied technical literature (ADGAS Job Training Manual) on Mechanical Seals.
5. Studied technical literature (ADGAS Job Training Manual) on Centrifugal Compressors.
6. Studied API pilots on Centrifugal Compressors and Centrifugal Pumps.
7. Completed Course of Mechanical Seal Basics offered by John Crane.
8. Completed course Bearings Basics offered by SKF.
9. Learning to operate SAP for adding shift-notes, checking material available stock,
generating MRV.
