Guidelines for applications in DUF's Local Association pool

§ 1 Purpose

1) The purpose of the local association pool is to strengthen the local associations'
targeted voluntary work for children and young people throughout the country.

§ 2 Who can apply for the pool?

1) All local associations under DUF's member organizations and
observer organizations based in Denmark and South Schleswig can apply for the
pool. Associations in Greenland and the Faroe Islands cannot apply for the pool.

2) Local associations across DUF's member organizations and

observer organizations can apply together. Local associations under the same member
organization or observer organization can apply together.
If several local associations apply jointly, one local association must be listed as
responsible.

3) DUF informs the member organizations twice a year about any grants to local associations.

4) As a starting point, a local association is understood as the outermost link in the

national organization's structure.

§ 3 The overall basis of the local association pool

1) The funds must be distributed widely throughout the country. DUF prioritizes support
local associations in geographical areas that have received support from the pool to a
significantly lesser extent than other areas.

2) The funds must be used for many types of purposes. DUF prioritizes supporting applications
that have a purpose that has received support from the pool to a significantly lesser extent
than others.

3) The funds must be used in many associations rather than a few. DUF prioritizes supporting
local associations that have received support from the pool to a lesser extent than others.

4) The funds must be allocated to varied types of association, so that there is a prioritization
of local associations from national organizations that have received the least amount of
funding before others.

5) DUF takes an ongoing position on the distribution of the funds between the
application rounds.

6) DUF continuously prioritizes between the above criteria in order to

create balance.

of the pool

applicant's project.

§ 5 How much can you as a local association apply for?

1) You can apply for up to DKK 50,000 per application.

a. If two or more local associations apply together, up to DKK 75,000 per application.

b. DUF can grant a lower amount than applied for, taking into account
the size of the pool and appropriate distribution and use of the funds.

§ 6 How to apply

DUF's secretariat can in special cases dispense with this in the case of technical

The number can be reduced if the consumption in the pool has meant that fewer
