Validate the source file with either of the following validators: Compare the pros and cons of the two validators. XHTML/XML Validators: http://www.validome.org/ - Validome is a website that seems more straight to the point. You upload the file straight on the home page. It then will validate and give the errors that occurred on your file. Website not really user friendly. Errors do not have much of a description. Gives good overview on what exactly the validator looks for.

http://validator.w3.org/ - The website is more organized and less text covering the website. Had to search where to upload the file. The validator gives the errors and a good detailed description on each error and how you can fix them. Website seems better in terms of seeing what you are doing wrong on your website.
