This story tells the tale of a proud and vain hare who

constantly boasted about being the fastest animal in

the forest and ridiculed the tortoise for being slow.
The tortoise, tired of the hare's mockery, challenged
him to a race. The hare, confident in his speed,
eagerly accepted. All the animals gathered to witness
the race, with the owl as the referee. At the start, the
hare quickly sprinted ahead while the tortoise lagged
behind. Feeling assured of victory, the hare decided
to take a nap under a tree. Meanwhile, the steady-
paced tortoise kept plodding along. When the hare
woke up, he panicked to see the tortoise only a few
steps away from the finish line. Despite the hare's
desperate efforts, the tortoise crossed the finish line
first and won the race. From this embarrassing
experience, the hare learns an important lesson
about not underestimating others and the dangers of
overconfidence and vanity. The moral of the story is
that everyone is equal and should be treated with
respect.
