To waste as little time as possible:
Read the questions first.
While reading, start with the heading/subheading, then the conclusion.

Start with whichever question you need the most energy for
Start with the questions with higher marks (language analysis & responding to the
text)
Summary would be left for last, as it’s more straightforward and doesn’t need as
much effort.
For Summary
I wouldn’t start writing it out, until I had all of the 10 points.
Your style and ability to ‘embellish’ your writing will be subjective and dependent on the examiner’s
interpretation, so secure many marks with facts (from the text) and technique before thinking
about how to structure your words.

For Writing
You won’t see anything above your current grade if you don’t write something yourself.
If you’re struggling with making your writing sound good, try expressive reading.
You’ll be able to spot mistakes when you read them out loud.

For Language Analysis

Aim for meanings more profound than the most obvious.
For example:- If the writer says “lurking life”, don’t stop at “this shows there was something
hidden under the shadows”. Move to what the implications of something “lurking” should
make a writer feel: curious, worried, tense, or hopeful, depending on the text's tone.

For Time management

Do past papers with a timer
Your target should be 5-8mins left for reviewing the paper, no more or
less.
