1. to charge, v = to state officially that someone may be guilty of a crime:
charge sb with sth Gibbons has been charged with murder.
The suspect was charged with reckless driving.
2. to charge, v = to ask someone for a particular amount of money for something you are
selling: charge sb for sth The restaurant charged us €40 for the wine.
We won’t charge for delivery if you pay now.
3. to charge sth on sth (Am E) to pay for something with a CREDIT CARD:

4. to accuse, v = to say that you believe someone is guilty of a crime or of doing something bad:
