Question:​ ​Measures​ ​of​ ​addressing​ ​the​ ​tension​ ​between​ ​Israel​ ​and​ ​Palestine
Country:​ ​United​ ​States​ ​of​ ​America

Deeply​ ​Disturbed​ ​that​ ​these​ ​two​ ​countries​ ​have​ ​a​ ​war​ ​between​ ​them​ ​that​ ​has​ ​lasted​ ​for
around​ ​30​ ​years.

Bearing​ ​in​ ​mind​ ​that​ ​this​ ​situation​ ​killed​ ​over​ ​6,000​ ​people​ ​including​ ​innocent
women,​ ​children,​ ​men​ ​and​ ​old​ ​aged​ ​people.

Reaffirming​ ​that​ ​these​ ​two​ ​countries​ ​situation​ ​is​ ​like​ ​this​ ​due​ ​to​ ​them​ ​fighting​ ​over
Jerusalem​ ​a​ ​holy​ ​place​ ​for​ ​both​ ​Israelis​ ​and​ ​Palestinians.

1) Further​ ​Urges​​ ​the​ ​house​ ​to​ ​hold​ ​a​ ​conference​ ​based​ ​on​ ​Israel-Palestine​ ​relations​ ​in
order​ ​to​ ​separate​ ​the​ ​two​ ​states​ ​and​ ​let​ ​both​ ​Israeli​ ​and​ ​Palestinian​ ​states​ ​achieve
sovereignty​ ​through​ ​methods​ ​that​ ​are​ ​not​ ​limited​ ​to:
a) Israel​ ​and​ ​Palestine​ ​discussing​ ​and​ ​implementing​ ​an​ ​adequate​ ​amount​ ​of​ ​land
for​ ​each​ ​country​ ​based​ ​on​ ​their​ ​proportionate​ ​populations,
b) Future​ ​Palestine-Israel​ ​relations​ ​should​ ​not​ ​interact​ ​for​ ​a​ ​given​ ​amount​ ​of​ ​time
to​ ​prevent​ ​any​ ​conflicts​ ​between​ ​the​ ​two​ ​newly​ ​formed​ ​states​ ​by:
i) The​ ​United​ ​Nations​ ​can​ ​create​ ​a​ ​form​ ​of​ ​a​ ​border​ ​that​ ​restricts​ ​access
of​ ​either​ ​state​ ​into​ ​one​ ​another​ ​in​ ​order​ ​to​ ​prevent​ ​further​ ​conflicts
from​ ​happening​ ​ ​provided​ ​that​ ​the​ ​border​ ​is​ ​to​ ​have​ ​a​ ​few​ ​access​ ​points
for​ ​reasons​ ​such​ ​as​ ​transportation​ ​purposes​ ​and​ ​also​ ​asks​ ​the​ ​UN​ ​to
deploy​ ​people​ ​who​ ​will​ ​monitor​ ​the​ ​transactions​ ​that​ ​are​ ​taking​ ​place
across​ ​the​ ​border​ ​and​ ​ ​also​ ​troops​ ​who​ ​will​ ​monitor​ ​either​ ​side​ ​of​ ​the
border​ ​to​ ​ensure​ ​that​ ​no​ ​action​ ​that​ ​will​ ​bring​ ​rise​ ​to​ ​conflict​ ​between
the​ ​two​ ​states​ ​is​ ​taken,
ii) By​ ​preventing​ ​the​ ​interaction​ ​between​ ​Israel​ ​and​ ​Palestine​ ​by​ ​avoiding
them​ ​to​ ​participate​ ​in​ ​the​ ​same​ ​contract​ ​or​ ​treaty​ ​together​ ​until​ ​and
unless​ ​they​ ​have​ ​resolved​ ​their​ ​issue​ ​so​ ​that​ ​no​ ​conflict​ ​can​ ​erupt
between​ ​both​ ​sides​ ​and​ ​so​ ​that​ ​the​ ​treaty​ ​can​ ​be​ ​long​ ​lasting,
iii) Calls​ ​for​ ​the​ ​members​ ​of​ ​the​ ​UN​ ​to​ ​hold​ ​a​ ​conference​ ​every​ ​two​ ​years
to​ ​see​ ​where​ ​either​ ​of​ ​the​ ​two​ ​states​ ​stand​ ​with​ ​each​ ​other​ ​and​ ​to
ensure​ ​that​ ​they​ ​are​ ​capable​ ​of​ ​working​ ​with​ ​each​ ​other​ ​in​ ​order​ ​to
prevent​ ​conflict,​ ​the​ ​conference​ ​will​ ​include​ ​members​ ​such​ ​as​ ​the
advisory​ ​panel,​ ​the​ ​P5​ ​members​ ​and​ ​all​ ​interested​ ​commissions​ ​and
parties,
iv) Proposes​ ​that​ ​once​ ​the​ ​two​ ​states​ ​are​ ​seen​ ​to​ ​have​ ​made​ ​progress​ ​in
resolving​ ​their​ ​conflict​ ​by​ ​way​ ​of​ ​clause​ ​one​ ​sub​ ​clause​ ​a​ ​and​ ​b,
Jerusalem​ ​be​ ​made​ ​the​ ​common​ ​capital​ ​of​ ​the​ ​two​ ​states​ ​provided​ ​that
the​ ​border​ ​lines​ ​are​ ​drawn​ ​and​ ​maintained​ ​according​ ​to​ ​the​ ​populations
and​ ​a​ ​small​ ​groups​ ​of​ ​peace​ ​troops​ ​are​ ​allocated​ ​around​ ​Jerusalem​ ​to
ensure​ ​that​ ​no​ ​conflict​ ​arises​ ​between​ ​the​ ​two​ ​states​ ​ ​as​ ​this​ ​will:
(1) promote​ ​future​ ​stability​ ​and​ ​mutual​ ​cooperation,
(2) Avoid​ ​conflict​ ​that​ ​can​ ​result​ ​from​ ​fighting​ ​over​ ​Jerusalem
which​ ​is​ ​a​ ​sacred​ ​land​ ​to​ ​both​ ​parties;

2) Promotion​​ ​of​ ​equality​ ​through​ ​media,​ ​education​ ​and​ ​economic​ ​factors​ ​of​ ​life​ ​through
the​ ​following:
a) Co-existence​ ​in​ ​education​ ​which​ ​allows​ ​children​ ​to​ ​be​ ​able​ ​to​ ​learn​ ​freely
without​ ​religious​ ​boundaries​ ​with​ ​the​ ​help​ ​of​ ​UNESCO.
b) Economic​ ​factors​ ​which​ ​allows​ ​people​ ​who​ ​are​ ​originated​ ​in​ ​Palestine​ ​and
Israel​ ​to​ ​work​ ​equally​ ​without​ ​bias​ ​of​ ​religion
c) Using​ ​media​ ​to​ ​educate​ ​the​ ​technologically​ ​advanced​ ​world​ ​on​ ​the​ ​importance
of​ ​equality:
i) Worldwide​ ​media​ ​coverage​ ​to​ ​promote​ ​different​ ​and​ ​equally​ ​fair
perspectives
