wisdom, knowledge and understanding. He has been the source of my strength throughout this

 ABSTRACT

The Design and Implementation of a movie reservation system is aimed at developing an

online ticket reservation system for movies. During the recent years, many individuals who wish
to reserve a seat at the cinema, will have to reserve or book a movie manually, and due to the
traffic or busy schedules some end up missing a movie while some others may see their
excitement die down from long hours of standing in long queues to get tickets booked. A movie
reservation system helps to ease the stress and provides anytime, anywhere service for the
customers to book their movie ticket. When making this research I discovered some complaints
about cyber security threats and phising, hence I made use of OTP ( One Time Password) to
enhance the security of the system. The system uses a waterfall methodology which emphasizes
a linear progression from beginning to end of a project so as to ensure efficient workflow and
improved resource utilization. I will recommend an establishment of a feedback loop with users
so as to gather insights, identify pain points, and drive continuous improvement in the movie
reservation system.
