1.0 INTRODUCTION:

This Technical Specification specifies the technical requirements of combing lights serve to
illuminate the various instruments and panels on the cockpit/dashboard. Light protrudes from the
panel and the bezel surrounds the instrument and illuminates the face of instrument it provides
sufficient illumination to make each instrument, switch, or other equipment necessary for safe
operation easily readable. In this specification, material and functional characteristics of the light
with environmental specifications are detailed.

4.0 ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS FOR QT ( Qualification Testing):

The unit shall conform to environmental severities as follows:

ACCEPTANCE TEST PROCEDURE (ATP)

Inspection of product for delivery under contact or purchase order shall include the
following report.

1) The sample selected sample from lot batch shall be visually and dimensionally
examined for conformance to applicable specification sheet.

2) The vendor shall provide rated voltage current, power and photometric test report
conforming to the applicable specification sheet.

3) Functional Trial should be conducted at HAL Electrical shop/test lab by operating a


sample at rated voltage for a period 24 hours.
