Spring (January) 2020 semester only. If you choose not to attend, your documents will remain on file
for one year.

You will receive an email from the office of International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS). This
email will invite you to upload financial and other information that is required to obtain immigration
paperwork. You will upload this information via an online system called iStart. Once your immigration
file is complete, your form I-20 or DS-2019 will be processed and sent to you. Then, you can apply for
a visa to enter the United States. For more on the I-20 process, visit isss.gsu.edu/i-20. Next, we
encourage you to visit isss.gsu.edu/next-steps for your next steps after admission. We encourage you
to immediately activate your campusID and official email to stay connected with Georgia State
University.

As you plan your future, don’t forget that your journey at Georgia State is just beginning! If you would
like to continue your education and earn a bachelors' degree, your transition to our Atlanta campus
will be seamless and guaranteed, pending achievement of a minimum 2.0 GPA in at least 30 credit
hours.
