Job description

Halodi Robotics is bringing robots out of factories and into the


human world. We have cracked the code and engineered a safe,
capable, and affordable solution (named EVE) that will be deployed
in the immediate future to security, retail, and food-packaging
markets.

We are looking for someone to lead our mechatronics testing team


and be responsible for coming up with a testing environment for
biped robots and actuators. An ideal candidate is
an interdisciplinary senior mechatronics engineer and can lead a
team of 3-5 engineers. We are looking for someone who wants to
join an intelligent team focusing on building high performance real-
time humanoid robots. You will have the power to work
independently as well as learn from the team and grow
tremendously.

At Halodi Robotics, we take a holistic approach to building robots;


all components of our robots are developed in-house including
motors, transmissions, sensors, electronics, controls, and AI. As our
colleague, you will get the opportunity to develop skills in not only
embedded systems but also other robotics areas.

• be self-sufficient, and lead the hardware testing team for our
biped humanoid robot
• own all mechatronic testing procedures and equipment in the
company
Within one year, you will…
• be the go-to person with anything related to mechatronic
testing
• lead production testing practices for mid volume production
of humanoid robots
Job requirements
Must-Haves:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Robotics or Electrical


Engineering, or higher education
• Excellent knowledge of mechatronic systems
• Experience developing test procedures and building testbeds
for mechatronic systems
• Working experience with test equipment and workshop tools
• Detail oriented personality with solid documentation and
reporting skills

Nice-To-Haves:

• Experience with motor control theory


• Experience with CAD design
• Experience with data acquisition and analysis software
• Experience working with highly complex mechatronics systems
with several Degrees of Freedom
• Understanding of highly dynamic environments where
balancing competing priorities and timelines is needed

Location Statement
Our engineering roles are based out of Halodi's newly-opened
headquarters in Moss, Norway, just 30 minutes by train from Oslo
city center. Our state-of-the-art facility offers CNC machines, a 3D-
printer farm, an electronics lab, a robot gym, good food, showers,
and support for various outdoor activities including sea kayaks,
mountain bikes, great swimming locations, seaside saunas for the
winter dip. As part of our comprehensive relocation package, we
take care of your financial and logistical needs.
