Important:
• Only one registration per candidate is allowed.
• Candidates need to clear Communication assessment to proceed with further selection process
• Technical assessment consists of coding and knowledge skill assessment.
• Coding skills assessed are : Python, ANSI SQL, DBMS, Data Model
• Knowledge skills assessed are : Data warehousing Basics, ETL concepts, Cloud fundamentals Unix and shell scripting
• Students can participate only in one assessment in the 2024 campus hiring season
Eligibility criteria 2024 batch

• For GenC Next : 2024 graduates in B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech in Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning / Data
Science streams and CSE with Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning / Data Science specialization
o Consistent academic record of a minimum of 70% in X, XII, Diploma, UG & PG (all subjects will be taken into
consideration)
o Aggregate% = Sum of all subject’s marks scored / total no. of subjects (as of last semester result declared)
• For GenC Pro Cloud : Candidates graduating in 2024 from B.E/B.Tech/M.E/ M.Tech - (from branches such as Artificial
Intelligence /Machine Learning /Data Science /Computer Science/ Information Technology) are eligible to apply
o Should have certification in any one of the cloud technologies –
Amazon:
➢ AWS Certified Developer - Associate
➢ AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate
➢ AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner
Microsoft:
➢ Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals,
➢ Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate
Google:
➢ Google Cloud Certified: Cloud Engineer
➢ Google Cloud Certified: Cloud Developer
➢ Google Cloud Certified: Data Engineer
➢ Google Cloud Certified: Machine Learning Engineer

subjects will be taken into consideration) calculated as below.

• For GenC Pro- Japanese : Candidates graduating in 2024 from B.E/B.Tech/M.E/ M.Tech from branches such as
Artificial Intelligence /Machine Learning /Data Science /Computer Science/ Information Technology are eligible to
apply with JLPT certification N3
o Students should possess consistent academic record with 60% or greater in X, XII, Diploma, UG & PG (all
subjects will be taken into consideration) calculated as below.
o Aggregate% = Sum of all subject’s marks scored / total no. of subjects (as of last semester result declared)

• Students with standing arrears (in 1st to 6th Sem) are NOT eligible to apply

• At the time of joining, aggregate for the students who have applied for re-evaluation (and are waiting for the results)
will be derived based on the initial scores

• CGPA to % conversion will be considered as per University norms

• Open to Indian nationals`/OCIs/PIOs who are currently residing in India

• Provisional certificate is mandatory to join as Full Time Employee


Student information

Mandatory documents for registration: Registration link will be shared with college placement officers and students
must scan and upload the below mentioned documents while registering:

• Resume (maximum of 2 pages) with a high-resolution passport size photograph. Please note that
the photograph should be clicked in a light background and both the ears of the candidates must be
visible

• Industry accredited certificate to be uploaded mandatorily for GenC Pro.

Mandatory documents for Interview

• All academic documents including the college ID card, and school/college UG, PG mark sheets

Profile information

• Candidates are required to upload valid certifications during registration to apply for the GenC Pro category of
hiring.

• If PAN card not available, kindly apply for the same as this is a mandatory document for onboarding. If you do not
have your last name updated in the PAN card kindly get it updated. Background verification will fail if last name is
not updated in the PAN card. Background verification will fail if the PAN card name and the below registered
name is not matching. Please refer Naming Convention Matrix for more details .

• Ensure student registration is done with accuracy as the same will be considered as final and no changes will be
encouraged later. Incase any discrepancy is found in the name, scores uploaded & educational documents given,
the profile will be disqualified

• All communications to students and TPOs will be predominantly through Superset platform and students can
view their status in the platform
Placement office information

• College placement officer needs to authenticate eligibility of academics in the college for all the students
prior to sharing the student's data base and registering them for Cognizant recruitment process

• College placement officer needs to ensure that only those students who meet Cognizant eligibility criteria
can appear for the placement process
