Few & Little

Few
-means you haven't enought, almost you have nothing
Eg: I have few friends, so that's why I am lonely
A few
-means you have enought, you have alot
Eg: I have a few friends, so I can't complain
 Few is used for countable nouns.

Little
-means you haven't enought
Eg: I have little money left, so I can't buy the book.
A little
- means you have got enought to do something
Eg: I have a little money left, so I can buy a car.
 Little is used for uncountable nouns.

Wish

- is used to talk about a situation or an action we ar sorry about


1. Wish + past tenses →S + Vb -ed
-form 2
 We use it when we talk about the present or the future
Eg: I wish I had a brother or a sister.
2. Wish + past perfect → S + had + Vb -ed
-form 3
 We use it when we talk about a past actions .
Eg: My sister wishes she had studyed harder for her tests last month.

3. Wish + Would + Vb (short infinitive)

 We use it when it talks about ather people's annoying habits, or to say that
we woud like something to be different in the future.
Eg: I wish my neighbours would stop shouting.

It's (higt) time

 We use It's (higt) time when we want to say that something should happen
immediately or should have happening already
1. It's + S + past tense
Eg: It's time you wrote to your grandmother and thanked her for the pesent.

Had better

•We use had better to give somebody advice or say wath somebody should
do.
Eg: You had better appologise to your father.

Would rather

•We use would rather to talk about preference.


1. Would rather + Vb (short infinitive)
Eg: I'd rather go and visit my friends.
2. Would rather + S + past tense
Eg: I'd rather you didn't invite Maria next weekend.
