We studying for the ROLE OF PEER TUTORING IN IMPROVING ACADEMIC PERFORMANCE at mat I
national high school

We are conducting research on ROLE OF PEER TUTORING IN IMPROVING ACADEMIC PERFORMANCE. The
background this study the Individual difference cannot be neglected at any stage of human learning.
Therefore teachers should design learning activities that can better address the individual needs of
students. Some need based learning activities are discussion, group work, private tuition, mentoring and
peer tutoring. The methods are usually adopted to enchance Student’s learning (1) (p.64). are less skilled
and have low level of knowledge or expertise), in an interactive, meaningful and organized way. Usually
shy children learn effectively through tutoring by sharing can be traced back to Roman and Greek ages,
As far as peer tutoring has undergone. Evolution which can be is teaching strategy where a group of
students interact to help each other’s learning by one student occupying the role of tutor and the other
role of tutee.

The research will entail collecting data from Mat I national high school in grade 11 Narra

We will invite from your organization to participate in this study. The senior high school grade 11 Narra if
they agree they will be asked to answer questionnaire from 1:pm to 2:pm in their respective classroom
to answer.

Participants will be asked to give their written or verbal consent before the research begins. Their
responses will be treated confidentially , and identities ROLE OF PEER TUTORING IN IMPROVING
ACADEMIC PERFORMANCE. will be anonymous unless otherwise expressly indicated. Individual privacy
will be maintained in all published and written data resulting from the study.

The research participant’ will not be advantaged or disadvantaged in any way. They will be reassured
that they can withdraw their permission at any time during this project without any penalty The are no
foreseeable risks in participating in this study.

We therefore request permission in writing to conduct my research at your organization. The permission
letter should be on your organization’s headed paper, signed and dated , and specially referring to
ourselves by name and the title study.
