Preliminary details:

Guest Lecture was conducted by the department of MBA on 15.9.2023 from 11:00 am to 1:00
pm. Chief guest Mr. Abhishek Chatterjee, Director, ITI DATA, PUNE has taken a lecture on
topic “Organization Culture” for the first year students in Division 6 ( Room number – 704 ) .
ITI DATA company is an industry-leading information and data management solutions firm

with business-driven technology that’s purpose-built to support the complex needs of the world’s
largest banks, financial services, and healthcare companies.
Founded in 1999, ITI opened its first office in Chicago with a small team delivering ground
breaking, high-performance solutions in credit risk and marketing for FICO, the firm’s initial
cornerstone client. Through client referrals, The company then acquired Fortune 100 clients,
such as Citibank, JPMorgan Chase, and Wells Fargo. This organic business growth is a true
testament to the reliability, work quality, and hands-on experience that ITI delivers to its clients.
Total of around 57 students and staff participated in this lecture.

Objectives of the event:

The lecture was held to make students of MIT-WPU, understand about “Organization Culture”
and it’s importance in an organization, also to make students familiar with different types of
organization culture practiced by various companies.

Event Details:

The speaker explained about the Basics of Organization Culture , Edgar Schein’s Organizational
Culture Model, Organization Culture Characteristics, Role and Importance of Organization
Culture and Discussed Types of Organization Culture in detail. The lecture also discussed about
managing the organization culture , keeping it alive with authenticated explanations. The impact
of organization culture was shared with the participants. The guest also emphasised on empathy
as a core value he practices in his corporate world. After his lecture the students were given time
to interact with him. Students felt that the session was informative and interactive. Also,
students gave their feedback, and explained how they were benefited. At the end of the lecture
the guest was facilitated by Dr. Neelam Raut ( Programme Director ).
