2. How do 3 branches of government works together?

The Philippine government has three branches—Legislative, Executive, and Judicial—that work together to prevent one
branch from having too much power. The Legislative Branch, made up of the Senate and the House of Representatives,
creates laws. The Executive Branch, led by the President, enforces these laws. The Judicial Branch, including the Supreme
Court and lower courts, interprets laws and ensures they follow the constitution. Even though each branch has its own
tasks, they depend on each other, and there are checks in place to make sure they act responsibly. For example, the
President can reject a law, but Congress can override the rejection with a two-thirds vote. The Judiciary can also say if a
presidential action or law is against the constitution. This way, the branches work together to keep a fair balance of power,
ensuring good governance and protecting the rights of the Filipino people.
3. Make infographics how bill becomes a Law
- A proposed law starts in either the House of Representatives or the Senate. It goes to a committee for review.
- If the committee approves, the whole house discusses and votes on it. If the house disagrees, they can send it back to the
committee or drop it.
- If approved, it moves to the other house for a similar process. If both houses agree, it goes to the President. The
President can either sign it into law or veto it and send it back.
- Congress then has three choices: revise the bill to please the President, abandon it, or vote to override the veto.
