Accountant

Role:

• Reporting to the Accounting Manager, will support the Finance Team.

Main Responsibilities:

• Assist in the analysis of invoices received, corresponding to contracts in SAP;

• Monitoring of invoice approvals in conjunction with different Departments;
• Assist in the management of contracted companies in invoice payment issues;
• Maintain accounting ledgers by verifying and posting account transactions;
• Assist in the calculation and recognition of amortization, depreciation, capitalization, etc.;
• Assist in month end closing;
• Assist in preparing and reconciling relevant reports such as Balance Sheet.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor´s Degree in Accounting, Economics, Management or related area;
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar position.
• Knowledge of SAP.

Competencies:

• Proficiency in English and Portuguese (verbal and written);

• Highly organized;
• Highly proactive and ability to work under pressure and deliver in tight deadlines;
• Energetic and hands on approach;
• Team member with high level of responsibility;
• Excellent communication skills.
