Winter Recap
Between October 2023 and January
2024, CAGR Network JGU organised
a variety of events and activities to help
JGU students in their personal
branding and networking journey. All
events had a large number of attendees
and there was something for everyone
to gain.
On the 8th of October, 2023, a
LinkedIn audio event, “A Guide on
Cracking Interviews through Cold
Outreach” was conducted with
prominent creator and a graduate of
INSEAD, Akshat Kharbanda.
Through the event, students were able
to learn how to optimise their LinkedIn
profiles and resumes to make them
more attractive to recruiters. They were
also taught the basics of cold outreach
and its effective usage in securing jobs
and interviews. This came at the right
time as a lot of students were looking
for winter internship opportunities
then.
Between the 27th and 29th of
December, 2023, CAGR Network
JGU hosted over 20 one-on-one
LinkedIn Review Sessions, where the
board members personally reviewed
the LinkedIn profiles of the students
that registered. Each person had a 30
min slot in which the board members
provided tips and suggestions on how
to improve each section of their
LinkedIn profile. These sessions
helped attendees make their
LinkedIn profiles close to perfect for
their individual needs. The students
that attended also gave very good
reviews for the sessions. More
sessions were underway at the time of
writing this newsletter, as we received
over 120 registrations, with plans of
an in-person Phase II in the works.
On January 1st, 2024, CAGR
Network JGU proudly introduced
"The CAGR Growth Toolkit,"
specifically curated to aid students in
navigating the ever-evolving career
landscape. This comprehensive
toolkit encompasses over 50
resources across key themes,
including Academic Excellence,
Professional Development, Time
Management, Personal Well-being,
and Communication Skills. It is
strategically designed to bolster
students in crucial areas such as
placements, job interviews, daily
productivity, AI tools, LinkedIn
growth strategies, and internship
tracking. Additionally, the toolkit
offers access to professionally crafted
resume and cover letter templates.
This toolkit fosters holistic growth,
providing invaluable support in
enhancing research skills, facilitating
career exploration, and promoting Top & bottom: Pictures from our LinkedIn audio event

Deveshi, our Personal Branding and
Development Executive at CAGR Network
JGU, has launched SheWanders Collective—a
platform promoting independent female travel. In
partnership with BUKIT.travel, they've
successfully completed their maiden trip,
empowering women to explore the world solo.
Deveshi's entrepreneurial spirit and dedication to
breaking barriers make this initiative a
remarkable success. Congratulations to Deveshi
and the #SheWanderers on this achievement, and
here's to more empowering adventures ahead!

Anshi, our Social Media and Communications
Executive, has clinched a one-month winter
internship at Axis Finance in Bangalore
following a successful interview with the HR
representative. During her internship, Anshi had
the privilege of working closely with the Senior
Vice President and heads of various
departments in the South Zone. A testament to
her skills and dedication, we congratulate Anshi
on this valuable opportunity and wish her
continued success in her professional journey.
Aryaman, our Events and Logistics Executive,
has secured a one-month winter internship at
Axis Bank in New Delhi. In the FOREX and
NRI services department, he's assisting the
Branch Operation Head in addressing customer
inquiries related to fraudulent activities.
Additionally, Aryaman is delving into a research
paper on REIT Analysis, exploring its
formation, entry into India, current situation,
future outlook, and conducting an in-depth
analysis on Embassy Office Parks REIT and
Brookfield India Real Estate Trust. Kudos to
Aryaman on this enriching opportunity and his
commitment to professional growth!
