Abstract

Teachers are the building blocks of future education, providing crucial life skills to all students.

But unfortunately fewer people are majoring in elementary education. They avoid it because

teaching sounds like too much hassle. However there are many advantages to teaching. Some

advantages include spending time with kids every day, never having a boring moment,

showcasing creativity and having summer vacation. Getting a degree in elementary education is

like going back to school, but it's twice as fun the second time around! These days, most people

can count on a job. Dealing with challenging students and the low pay are two disadvantages of

becoming an elementary school teacher. Depending on where you live and the degree you have,

the beginning average salary for a teacher in Minnesota is about $50,000. Each day is different,

so you must be adaptable. Education has amazing responsibilities, it gives life-essential

knowledge and the chance for a better future. One might say that the most important quality for

teachers to have is compassion.
