WAR OF WORDS
A debate like no other!

Picture this: a battlefield where words come alive, not to clash with swords, but to
engage in a literary showdown. This isn't your typical debate; it's a playful skirmish
of synonyms, antonyms, and homophones.

Synonyms, those friendly word twins, try to outshine each other with their similari-
ties, while antonyms, the opposites-attract duo, engage in a friendly tango of con-
tradictions. Homophones, the sound-alike pals, add a hilarious twist as they playfu-
lly confuse the audience. So prepare your vocabulary well!

Who will emerge victorious in this battle of wits and words? The only way to find
out is to step into the arena and witness the magical War of Words!
GUIDELINES

• The debate will consist of 3 rounds, each focusing on a different aspect of language:
synonyms, antonyms, and homophones.
• Participants will have a strict 20 seconds to respond to each question or challenge.
• Only one team member will speak in each round, presenting the team's response.
• All participants must surrender their phones before the debate begins to avoid chea-
ting or external assistance.
• The "War of Words" is a knockout competition.
• After each round, the judging panel will eliminate one or more teams based on their
performance.
• Participants are expected to maintain a sportsmanlike attitude throughout the debate.
• The decision of the jury will be final.
• Registration process will be done on the spot.
JUDGE A BOOK BY IT’S COVER
BOOK COVER DESIGNING

“Don’t judge a book by its cover”, however in this event, you will be judged
on that basis. Convey your message at a speed faster than that of light,
Keep in mind that one first feasts with their eyes.
Speak not with words, but with a chaos of colour.

In this unique event, participants will be provided with a compelling prompt

or storyline, and their task is to craft an eye-catching book cover that captu-
res the essence of the narrative.
It's not just about aesthetics; it's about translating the emotions, themes, and
intrigue of the story into a captivating visual masterpiece.

So, grab your design tools, let your creativity flow, and get ready to enchant
the world with your imaginative book cover designs visually!
