Good morning

Could we please amend my ADA to include an excusal from using video conferencing

My current accommodation recognizes that I cannot hear in staff meetings and that

materials should be provided if the information is important and not conveyed by other
means regular email To date I have not received even one such accommodation
which tells me all information I need is conveyed to me by regular staff emails

I have the same issues with video conferencing

Before you set up a meeting please realise that if we are all in a room together wearing

masks I wont hear a word anyone says You may want to find a large room where we
can social distance and shout at each other Otherwise I am fine if we just

communicate via email or even set up a temp google Classroom where we can chat
synchronously

Are you able to see this thread I asked for video conference meetings to be added to

my ADA accommodations because I cannot hear anything on video conferencing They

want to have a video conference meeting to discuss it

apologize for not including you in the original email but I did not know it would be this

complicated If we have a video conference meeting everyone would have to write what
they are saying on big cardboard otherwise we are going to spend hours with me saying

excuse me I could not hear you

suggested we could do a chat in a Google Classroom or through email

I would appreciate your assistance in this matter

am not comfortable with being in an environ where others can speak but I cannot hear

I am uncomfortable with that being recorded It is very easy to set up a Google

Classroom where we are all on the same playing field

Please let me know if I should just contact the Federal or State ADA directly to lodge a

complaint
