Since we started working, we face different situations at work. For example, the key to getting
the job of our dreams is good preparation to be able to confidently answer job interview
questions. Conducting a job interview is a strategic process, where it is determined if the
candidate is prepared and qualified for the position.

Well, in every job interview I prepare and do a little research about the company where I am
applying. This helps me be more confident and prepared. In addition, it is important to inform
ourselves a little about possible doubts or frequently asked questions during an interview.

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

The growth of an employee within a company is very important. I am an industrial engineer

and I work at the Yanacocha mine. I am in charge of supervising and optimizing security
processes.

This career is really broad, so it is very importance to continue preparing and training myself to
continue growing professionally. Day by day I have to face different situations, to be able to
face each of them I have to inform myself. Professional development allows for the continuous
improvement of skills and the acquisition of new knowledge within the workplace. That is why
it is necessary to be in constant training since technological advances and various factors
constantly change.

To be successful in the world of work we have to learn to work as a team, and respect the
policies established in the workplace. Workers must respect the privacy of all colleagues, be
honest, comply with work hours and keep professional ethics in mind at all times. Professional
ethics determine how a professional should act in a given situation. As I told you before, the
industrial engineer faces different situations every day, and professional ethics prevents errors
and determines what is correct and what is not.
