WARNING: read carefully the following recommendations before proceeding

DO NOT:- flash the firmware if the battery is not fully charged- remove the SD card
while the memory is being flashed- use the scanner while the memory is being flashed
(plug the USB cable, press the button...)

PROCEDURE:

1/ Insert the SD card into an external SD reader and copy the loader (scan08_loader.rom)
in the root folder of the card.

2/ Rename the file scan08_loader.rom to scan08.rom.

3/ Switch the scanner OFF.

4/ Insert the SD card in the scanner.

5/ Switch the scanner ON, let it do its job (the light will flash several times) and wait
until it is automatically switched OFF.

6/ Insert the SD card into an external SD reader (*), delete the firmware from the root
folder.

7/ Insert the SD card into an external SD reader and copy the firmware (scan08.rom) in
the root folder of the card.

8/ Repeat steps 3 to 6.

9/ Switch the scanner ON, calibrate it by scanning the calibration sheet.
