 I. Introduction

Nowadays, internet has been one of the main sources of information it is easy to
use, accessible and sometimes considered a basic necessity to complete varieties of
essential tasks. In using internet, you need devices to connect and complete such
activities. Mobile data is the commonly used to connect the internet and as of today in
this pandemic, internet has been a good past time for those who is not coping well with
the pandemic. Thus, Because of the pandemic face to face classes are not allowed so
student rely on online classes that certainly needs the internet for their education.

Due to the fact that there are many people who are using the internet and that
the fact that here in our province our connection is slow and is not reliable. People in
the past bought WIFI routers to speed up their connection but it still not fast enough to
sustain the needs of the users.

I as student of Batanes State College who cares for our education and other
related tasks that involves the internet, I have the idea to promote an idea to invent a
specific hardware. This hardware will boost the Speed of the internet by approximately
10x. This will greatly help our community in terms of online students, business owners
and other internet consumers.

II. Objectives

Considering the fact that there are indeed individuals who are using the internet
and that the reality that here in our province our connectivity is weak and is not
trustworthy. We need a device that will enhance the internet connectivity. And a
signal/WIFI booster is what we need.

An invention like this will provide a boost at your WIFI at home with very
minimal data consumed as well as money spent. This will also prevent some people
going out just to seek much stronger mobile data connection it will also prevent them
from exposing them from the danger of infecting with the Corona Virus.
III. Significance

In Today’s time we need a strong and reliable internet connection to keep up

with the world. And in out community who lacks this kind of connectivity we need
somewhat way to boost our internet connectivity. The Importance of signal boosters is
that it will help sustain certain needs of the community. This will be extremely
beneficial to our society's incoming online classes, entrepreneurs, and other web users.

A signal booster will be very beneficial in our community, due to the fact that a
lot of processes in the government are being prolonged just because of internet.
Example of this are banks and finance offices that purely needs internet connectivity to
access information in different offices. Furthermore, our government is now
implementing free WIFI in public places, this will result to the internet being much
slower. So, a signal booster will be very helpful to the public.

Online Students will be very thankful incase this proposal is approved; they will
surely be dependent to the device. This will be very helpful in doing their tasks much
easier and faster. Thus, entrepreneurs who need communication for their business will
have the same number of benefits as others because of the speed of the internet.

The developers who will have the privilege to lead this kind of project. They will
have the knowledge and understanding of what it takes to lead this kind of project. The
experience that they gained will be very essential in maintaining the project and moving
on to another project.

IV. Proposed Features

The main features of the WIFI/Signal Booster are:

 Depending on what is the use of the WIFI the reception area, users and how
many data is allowed per device are adjusted; For PUBLIC WIFI reception will be
wide range and users will have a 70-capacity limit and limited data; For OFFICE
WIFI reception will be mid-range and users will have no limit and unlimited
data; For ONLINE STUDENTS and BUSINESS OWNERS reception will be mid-
range with users that are also limited and has an unlimited data. This will be the
options of the device.
 It will be convertible battery set up and plug in for the option to always have
internet connection even there is no available power source.
 The system will require either barcode or login.
