미래 영어의 사용

The properties of English are mixed with the properties of local

language and its pronunciation.

The Singaporean government is trying to encourage the use of

standard British English through the Speak Good English Movement.
Despite such efforts, mixed English, called Singlish, remains in the
language used in streets and homes. Also Spanglish, a mixture of
English and Spanish, is the native tongue of millions of speakers in the
United States. This variant language is emerging as an independent
language.

Looking back in the early 20th century, standard English, with an

accent known as "received pronunciation", was most recognized.
Today, however, native speakers are most concentrated in the United
States. American English has a great influence all over the world. In the
future, English will mean American English.

The early 20th century was a time of rule and settlement. Standard
English rules have been established and organized into grammar
books and "New Oxford English Dictionary on Historical
PrinciplesThese days, the process of destandardization is underway
and conflicting usage norms are emerging.
Consistency and accuracy are not strict in the online world. Variant
spelling is accepted and periods are omitted or repurposed to convey
various responses. According to the survey, online conversations
allowed exclamation marks to perform various emotional expression
functions, including apologies, challenges, gratitude, consent, and
solidarity.
The rapidly changing social media world is also a factor that influences
the creation and diffusion of neologisms.
Shortened, acronyms, synonyms, and abbreviations have long been a
productive way of word formation in English, but such a surge in new
languages means that the proportion of such expressions in English
will increase in the future.

Like that word or not, positive or negative, it will undoubtedly last a

long time.
