TASK 1

Scenario
You work as a communication officer in a leading chain of hotels and resorts in your country. You
have been asked by the senior management to investigate the products and services offered by three
hospitality business in the country. You can do this in one of the following ways. Get your teacher’s
advice before you do it.
1. Write a newspaper article and submit to your teacher. It must not be more than 500 words.
2. Make a PowerPoint presentation and present it orally. Your presentation should not have
more than 5 slides. Your oral presentation must not be longer than 5 minutes.
3. Write a summary report of investigation and submit to your teacher. It must not be more
than 500 words.

Name your work as “The Products and Services Offered in the Hospitality Industry”.

You must:
1. Identify products and services available to customers for different hospitality businesses in
their locality. (P1)
