ParaNorman

In 2012, Chris Butler and Sam Fell directed the animated horror-comedy
ParaNorman. In the little village of Blithe Hollow, a curse has led the dead to rise
from their graves and roam the earth. Norman, a young child with the ability to
communicate with the dead, teams up with his older sister Courtney to break the
curse and save the community.

The film begins with a series of strange occurrences in the town, including the
appearance of ghostly beings. Norman's uncle, Mr. Prenderghast warns Norman
about the anniversary of the Witch's death and the curse. As Norman delve
deeper into the mystery, he realize that the key to saving the town lies on Agatha
Prenderghast who was executed for witchcrafts.

The animation style in ParaNorman is simply beautiful. The filmmakers achieved a

perfect balance between the eerie and creepy moments, and the humorous and
lighthearted moments, creating a film that both adults and children can enjoy. The
voice-acting is top-notch, with characters like Norman, Courtney, Neil, Mitch and
Alvin, bringing a lot of personality to the film.

Overall, ParaNorman is a entertaining, captivating, and artistically striking movie

film that offers both a thrilling mystery and a few laughs along the way. It's a great
choice for Halloween night or any time you're in the mood for a spooky,
supernatural adventure.
