widespread in many countries in the world. It offers adverse chain supply services in many
parts of the world. There are well-established warehouse centers in America, Asia, Africa,
and Europe. The chain supply includes picking goods from client's stands, storing the goods
where applicable, and delivering the goods at the designated location (Soh, 2018). Clients can
opt to avail their goods at CEVA warehouses for storage before subsequent storage or request
the company to pick the goods at their very stands. Payments are done in good time before
shipment or done by cash or credit card once goods are delivered.
Clients must avail copies of all relevant documents in good time, preferably three
working days in advance. The pro forma invoice must be submitted to cater for custom duty
clearance where it applies. This particular invoice should contain an elaborate account of
every unit commodity and its respective net weight, quantity, and value. Each item is
required to labeled as either permanent, temporary, and should contain relevant specifications
for consumable goods. For delayed avail or retrieval from the warehouse, an appropriate
delayed booking cost is charged. Unless for a case otherwise stated, CEVA does not account
for any loss or destruction of items abandoned in stands, and clients are thus advised to fully
insure their goods.
Transport of goods is done via air, road, water, or rail. For air travel, relevant travel
bills are to be sent via fax immediately they are received. This also applies for water transport
where lading bills attached to a copy of the pro forma invoice should be sent through courier
services. Deliveries are done on road transport the client's driver and their vehicle be
accompanied by relevant personnel to the showcasing halls for loading or offloading. Either
way, deliveries are scheduled to be in good time.
