Respected Director Dr. Gulam Hussain sir , Principal of the school Mises.
Asif jahan madam, Incharge
Teacher Mr. Praveen sir, teaching non teaching Staff and my dear Pupils, Happy republic day,as you all would be aware that this year India's 74th Republic Day is being celebrated. Today I want to share with you all the important information related to Republic Day. The reason for celebrating India's Republic Day on January 26 every year is that even though our India got independence on August 15, 1947, our country did not have its own constitution. A drafting committee was formed under the chairmanship of Dr B. R. Ambedkar. It took 2 years, 11 months and 18 days to draft the Constitution of India,Our constitution is the largest written constitution in the world. then on January 26, 1950, the Constitution of India came into force throughout the country, India was declared as a republic country. Republic means governance by the people for the people and that is why every year January 26 is celebrated as Republic Day with great enthusiasm ,this day is celebrated by all Indian citizens without any discrimination, we all countrymen are proud to be citizens of India. In the society, we have different caste, religion or many other things that separate us but a broad picture of this is that we all are Indians. Republic Day is celebrated as united by all Indians. It was because of the hard work and struggle that the great freedom fighters of our country had sacrificed that India was given complete independence. And on this day we became completely independent. Because of all those great freedom fighters, today all Indian citizens are living with freedom in their country. However, today many problems like poverty, corruption, unemployment, farmers' suicide are increasing in our country. We all have to fight together to overcome these. Thanks for giving me this opportunity....
