imVision Support Guide

imVision and iPatch Network Communication Ports Usage

1.0 Purpose

This document details the network communications ports used by imVision System Manager software
and by the imVision Managers, including the imVision Controller, the 360 Panel Manager/Network
Manager, and the Rack Manager +.

(*) – The default value for the destination port is shown. The port number is modifiable using
the web user interface for System Manager and the local display on the imVision Controller.
(**) – The default value for the destination port is shown. This port number is implemented as a
fixed offset from the port with a default value of 8510. If port number 8510 is modified, this port
number will be correspondingly modified with the same fixed offset. For instance, if default port
8510 is modified to be 10000, ports 8512 and 8513 will be correspondingly modified to 10002
and 10003.
(***) – The default value for the destination port is shown. Default port numbers 80 and 443 are
modifiable in the web server configuration. Default port 1433 is configurable during System
Manager installation.
