General Nature of End User’s Business

The objective of our research work is to study the most important characteristics of
materials such as their mechanical, electrical, thermal, optical and magnetic properties,
etc.. At present, it is possible to describe materials by theoretical models that can
explain experimental observations, and above all to carry out modelling that can predict
the behaviour of materials where real experience is lacking, or is not available. or that it
is very expensive and sometimes difficult to carry out.

The objective of our research is to optimize the piezoelectric properties of lead-free

ceramics in order to offer users alternative materials to lead-based compositions. The

aim is to optimize the piezoelectric charge coefficient, the coupling coefficients k and the
Curie temperature Tc using ab-initio calculations based on functional density theory.
