Circulatory System
Problem statement:
Difficulty of 5th grade students in understanding the general functioning of the Circulatory
System Structure. Problem formulation: Explain, based on the following questions,
students' concerns about this topic.
General Objective:
Explain the circulatory system in humans by analyzing the functions of the heart, blood
vessels and blood, pointing to hypertension as a factor that puts the circulatory system
at risk.
Specific objectives:
c. Describe and state the function of each of the cellular components of the blood.
h. Describe the structures, function, and type of blood (venous and arterial) of the
different types of blood vessels: arteries, arterioles, capillaries, venues and
veins.
i. Describe the flow of blood through the cardiovascular system.
j. Define hemostasis and coagulation.
k. State the three pathways for the coagulation process and where the factors for
each are found or produced.
l. List and describe each of the five steps in the hemostatic process known as
coagulation.
m. List the laboratory tests which aid in the diagnosis and monitoring of the
circulatory system.
Justification
Based on the established information, the project seeks to achieve a broad knowledge
about Circulatory System based on the use of teaching materials that exemplify its
structure and operation.
Materials:
- Pencil
- Cuter
- Scissors
- Brush

- Hot Silicon
- Red ... yellow ... black ... blue ... and white paint.
- A strip of cardboard 3 cm wide X 14 cm long
- A cardboard the size of a letter sheet.
- A sheet of pink cardboard.
- A red foami leaf.
- A blue foami leaf.
- White Foami.
The transparent hose is 3/16 in (5mm).
