Candidate for the post of Inspector of Boilers in A.P. Boilers Service vide Notification.No.17/2018, is
hereby informed that on the basis of Written Examination (CBT) held on 25-04-2019 FN & AN, he/she is
being called for provisional verification of original certificates on 17/12/2019.

He/She is, therefore, directed to attend for verification of Original Certificates on 17/12/2019 at

10.00 AM in the Office of the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission, New HOD’s Building, 2
floor, M.G.Road (Bandar Road), OPP: Indira Gandhi Municipal Complex, Vijayawada- 520010, along
with the following Original Certificates and one set of Photostat copies duly Attested by the Gazetted
Officer.

S.No. Original Certificates with a set of Photostat copies of the same to be produced.

I. Date of Birth (SSC or its equivalent) in support of Minimum / Maximum age as on 01/07/2018.

II. Proof of age relaxation in case of A.P. State Government Servant (Regular Service certificate
from the concerned department, Govt. of Andhra Pradesh)/NCC instructor certificate/
Retrenched Employees in the state Censes Dept./Ex-servicemen certificate/SC,ST and BC’s
relevant certificates as mentioned in the notification.

III. Integrated Community Certificate (issued by the concerned Tahsildar/R.D.O) for BC, SC, ST
Candidates.

IV. Non-Creamy Layer Certificate in terms of orders in G.O. Ms No.3, Backward Classes
Welfare (C-2) Department, Dt.04/04/2006 read with G.O. Ms. No. 26 Backward Classes Welfare(C)
Department, Dated 09.12.2013: Certificate from Revenue Authorities has to be produced by BC
candidates as published in Para 4.6 of the Commission’s Notification No.17/2018. Candidates
belonging to Backward Classes shall submit the latest certificate clarifying that he/she does
not belong to the Section of Creamy Layer as per above mentioned G.O. (BC candidates may
download the format of Non-Creamy Layer Certificate from the Commission’s website). If Non-
Creamy Layer Certificate is not submitted his/her candidature will be treated as OC.
Important: Certificate obtained in OBC format will not be accepted for claiming NCL
status.
V. School Study Certificate from IV class to X class, if studied in School or Residence certificate
in case of Private study for relevant period as a proof of Local Status of the candidate as per
point No.7(1)/7(2) of G.O Ms No.674 GA (SPF-A) Department Dated .20/10/1975, A.P. Public
Employment (Organisation of Local cadres and Regulation of Direct Recruitment) Order,
1975.

VI. Local Status Certificate in case of candidates who have migrated from Telangana State to

Andhra Pradesh State in between 2 June, 2014 and 1 June, 2019 (in this case still date of
notification) as laid down in circular Memo No.4136/SPF&MC/2015-13, Dt: 20/11/2017 as
mentioned in the notification.

VII. Original qualification Certificates: Candidates must possess a Degree in Mechanical or

Production or Power Plant or Metallurgical Engineering from a recognised University or
equivalent and two years experience as technical personnel in the design, construction,
erection, operation, testing, repair, maintenance or inspection of Boilers or in the
implementation of the Boilers Act-1923 and rules & regulations framed there under ( as
prescribed under Rule-5 of A.P. Boilers Service Rules, 2016 vide G.O.Ms. No. 25, dt.
17.05.2016 of Labour Employment Training and Factories ( Labour- II) Department).
 VIII. In case there is any spelling mistake(s) in the certificates produced by the applicant including
the Degree certificate, a certificate from the competent authority stating that the original
certificate(s) pertaining to him/her has to be produced on the day of verification.
IX. Hall ticket of the Main Examination (CBT) in original and copy of this memo for verification
of Original Certificates.
X. Two attestation forms duly filled by the candidate and attested by the gazetted officer or a
Member of Central or State Legislature. The Candidate is also directed to affix his/her latest
passport size photograph duly attested by a Gazetted Officer on the top of each
attestation form.

XI. Two Check lists duly filled and signed by the candidate.

XIII. Persons who are Government Servant/Employees of State/Central/PSU and Autonomous
Bodies/Public Autonomous Bodies/Constitutional Bodies are required to produce letter of
permission/intimation (with acknowledgement) to appear in the examination if He/She was in
Service while applying.

IMPORTANT NOTE:-

i) The above Original Certificates should invariably be produced at the time of verification of Original
certificates failing which He/She will not be considered for selection process. No extension of time for
production of any Original certificates will be allowed for the reason whatsoever.” The same was
specifically mentioned in the notification and Hall Ticket.
ii) a) If he/she does not submit Study Certificate/Residence certificate at the time of verification, he/she will
be treated as non- local
b) If he/she does not submit Community and Non Creamy Layer Certificates in respect of BCs his/her
candidature will be treated as OC.
c) If he/she does not submit the Degree certificate in Mechanical or Production or Power Plant or
Metallurgical Engineering and Experience certificate as mentioned in the notification, his/her candidature
will be rejected.
iii) He/she should visit the Commission’s Website https://psc.ap.gov.in. & download Memo, Two
checklists, Two attestation forms, Breakup of vacancies, Detailed Notification.No.17/2018 and Non-
creamy layer certificate, as per G.O.MS.No.3 Backward Classes Welfare(C-2) Department,
dt.04/04/2006 read with G.O.Ms.No.26, BC Welfare (C) Dept., dt.09/12/2013.

The candidate must note that this is only provisional verification, which is Subject to fulfilment of the
conditions and other eligibility aspects with reference to the Commission’s Notification No.17/2018 and it
should not be construed as final selection. On verification, if the conditions laid down in the notification are
not fulfilled by the candidate, his/her candidature for selection to the post will be rejected.
