Our Hope Now and Beyond
Our Hope Now and Beyond
I Corinthians 13:11-13
January 14, 2024
I Corinthians 13:11-13 (NLT)
11 When I was a child, I spoke and thought
and reasoned as a child. But when I grew
up, I put away childish things. 12 Now we see
things imperfectly, like puzzling reflections
in a mirror, but then we will see everything
with perfect clarity. All that I know now is
partial and incomplete, but then I will know
everything completely, just as God now
knows me completely.
I Corinthians 13:11-13 (NLT)
13 Three things will last forever—faith,
hope, and love—and the greatest of these
is love.
I Corinthians 13:11-13 (ASND)
I Corinthians 13:11-13 (ASND)
13 Tatlongbagay ang nananatili: ang
pagtitiwala, pag-asa, at pag-ibig. Ngunit
ibig.
INTRODUCTION
1 Peter 3:15 (NIV)
15 Instead, you must worship Christ as
Lord of your life. And if someone asks
about your hope as a believer, always
be ready to explain it.,
HOPE:
The World’s Perspective
WORLD’S HOPE
1. NO GOD, NO HOPE
Ephesians 2:12-13 (NLT)
12 In
those days you were living apart from
Christ. You were excluded from citizenship
among the people of Israel, and you did not
know the covenant promises God had made to
them. You lived in this world without God and
without hope. 13 But now you have been united
with Christ Jesus. Once you were far away from
God, but now you have been brought near to
him through the blood of Christ.
Ephesians 2:12-13 (ASND)
niya. Namumuhay kayo sa mundong ito ng
walang pag-asa at walang Dios. 13 Ngunit kayo
ngayon ay na kay Cristo na. Malayo kayo
BIBLICAL HOPE
2. HOPE IS AN ANCHOR
Ephesians 2:12-13 (NLT)
19 Thishope is a strong and trustworthy
anchor for our souls. It leads us through
the curtain into God’s inner
sanctuary. 20 Jesus has already gone in
there for us. He has become our eternal
High Priest in the order of Melchizedek.
