SUBJECT: Selection of players from All India Junior Ranking Badminton Tournament (U-19 years), Guwahati
for final Selection Trials

Dear All,

As per the Selection Guidelines set by the BAI Selection Committee (Jr.), the All India Junior Ranking Badminton
Tournament (U-19 years) to be held in Guwahati (Assam) from 10-17 May 2023 will provide an opportunity
to the players to be invited for the final Selection Trials for the Badminton Asia Junior Championships 2023 to
be held in Yogjakarta, Indonesia from 7-16 July 2023.

Based on the results of the All India Junior Ranking Badminton Tournament (U-19 years) in Guwahati from
10-17 May 2023, following players will be invited for the Final Selection Trials in Delhi from 4-7 June 2023-

i) Top-8 players from both Boy’s and Girls’s Singles event

ii) Top-4 pairs from each of the pair event i.e. Boy’s Doubles, Girl’s Doubles and Mixed Doubles.
iii) Top-4 BAI Ranking players in Boy’s and Girl’s Singles as on Tuesday- 09/05/2023
iv) Top-2 BAI Ranking pairs (ranking points) in Boy’s Doubles, Girl’s Doubles and Mixed Doubles
as on Tuesday- 09/05/2023
v) Indian players in the Top-20 BWF Ranking (ranking points) in both singles and pair events as
on Tuesday- 09/05/2023
