Studying abroad has been a heated debate in the current decades. It is
sometimes said that all youngsters ought to try out studying overseas for a
school year if they have a chance. In my viewpoint, I personally believe that the
majority of young people should experience this kind of education one time in
their life.
Concerning the first idea, studying abroad will definitely provide teenagers an
opportunity to open up their society sight. When they study in foreign school, it
is a good way for them to approach a completely new type of education from
what they are studying. For example, most schools in US and UK nowadays are
applying “hands-on education”, which help their students to go on more school
trips in order to gain new experiences by trying new things. Thus, they may
widen their knowledge about a particular field in the society.
Another point worth noting is that studying in foreign colleges or schools plays
a huge role in the youngsters’ growth. Learning in a overseas school gives
teenagers a good condition to improve their social skills and talents like
teamwork or communication skills. For instance, the education in most of the
countries in Europe requires their students to do a lot of projects which they
have to work in groups. That means they can have a wonderful chance to
improve their relationships with their classmates and also has a positive
influence to their self-confidence as well.
