DIASS

In my reflections on the subject, I realized that there are many different aspects of
the social science disciplines of anthropology, economics, sociology, political
science, history, criminology, psychology, geography, and communication studies.
By illuminating how people behave within their many cultural contexts—past and
present, individually or ingroups, as well as national and international geopolitical
contexts—these disciplines aim to empower people as democratic participants in
a world that is changing quickly. Social science disciplines provide a thorough
grasp of society and how its people interact with one another both individually
and collectively. In addition to concentrating on a particular stage or aspect of
human society, the disciplines also research all subjects related to social behavior,
institutions, and functioning.
INTRO TO WORLD
World Religions was a great opportunity for me to learn about other beliefs in
different countries. Before this class, I was unaware of many of the religions that
had been discussed. It was fascinating to learn about the various religions of
Hinduism, Buddhism, Chinese religion, Judaism, Islam, and Christianity. The
Buddhist religion was one of the most interesting to learn about, however, it was
even great to learn more about a familiar religion, Christianity. There was a lot of
information on each of these religions and it was enjoyable to learn the
similarities and differences between each of them. Buddhism was a complicated
religion.
CESC
This subject focuses on using sociology ideas and ways to understand,
explore, and analyze contemporary community life problems. It
emphasizes on social activities including community engagement,
solidarity, and citizenship, which are guided by important ideals
including human rights, social justice, empowerment and advocacy,
gender equality, and community participation growth. Its goal is
to increase individuals' feeling of group understanding and
motivation to participate to the community at large common benefit. It
allows students to apply applied humanities towards community
programs.
CONCEPT PAPER
An excellent method to investigate a novel idea, launch a project, or even secure money for a
project is to write a concept paper. It basically involves expressing a thought in a clear, organized
manner so that it may be distributed to others. topic papers, in my opinion, are excellent tools
for idea generation, receiving input from others, and gaining a deeper comprehension of a
topic. It can also be utilized to convey an idea in a more structured and professional manner,
which may help it stand out to potential backers or sponsors. Overall, I believe concept papers
may be quite helpful for a range of tasks because they are a fantastic approach to research and
explain an idea.
CREATIVE NON-FICTION
Nonfiction is a genre of creative writing that includes texts about actual events that are not just
for academic purposes. In order to entice readers to read more of the material they enjoy,
fiction and poetry writing are appropriate genres to use when writing creative nonfiction.
POL GOV
I've gained a lot of insight from this subject. I gained knowledge about the idea, connection, and
significance of politics, governance, and government. Politics is crucial because it dictates what
governance means, as this course taught me. Politics, much beyond the role of the government,
determines how we regulate our own lives and the lives of those around us at every level.
CREATIVE WRITING
We gained a lot of knowledge about creative writing as a result of its many difficulties and
potential for adventure. Through this topic, we learned that writing a poem has its own unique
qualities and that it's not necessary for the last words in each line to rhyme with one another.
We also learned that if you don't understand the discussion, reading the poem or story we
wrote will be challenging, especially when it comes to writing when it comes impromptu. This
course teaches us how to express ourselves in writing, and since we believe that creative writing
is anything that allows you to put your thoughts and feelings on paper, we have already studied
certain approaches that may be useful.
TRENDS
When I initially learned that Trends, Networks, and Critical Thinking would be our first
semester's subject, it was obvious that I knew very nothing about it. Basically, I was thinking
about discussing patterns in both our nation and the rest of the globe. Which did not disappoint
me because trends were the first issue, we discussed in our first meeting with the subject's
professor. a thing or two about gigatrends. major trends, etc. I've come to the conclusion that
TNCT was a fascinating subject since it allowed me to study and understand things that I had
never known before or that I had not understood at the time when I was first learning about
this topic.
DISS
As the second quarter lecture progressed, the conversation moved from the definition of
science to the application of social sciences in everyday life. I've learnt how important it is to
study this course throughout the introduction.
I truly comprehended the extent of the research in the fullest sense when I defined the terms
science, social sciences, and society in the conversation. At first, I assumed that social sciences
solely examined human society, but it was later revealed that "society" is a group of the same
species that includes animals. I understood that it also included how animal society’s function
based on their behavior.
