Christian education is a personal development and growing mentally, physically
and spiritually in the principle and ways of Jesus Christ. It focus on Christian
living, and children are taught and train to develop Christian personality, be
devoted and consecrated to God and other who needs help.
There are also different principles like it must be Christ center, child
center, harmonious growth, the relationship between a teacher and the learner
should be an essential relationship which could lead them to Christ, giving
freedom to children and adolescence while the important of the authority that
we exercise should be shown with love and care, and the right time used of our
inherit instinctive urges. Christian Education should always be based on the
teaching of the Bible as it provides the true knowledge of God, history about
Christianity and present Jesus Christ as the ideal hope as our savior. Christian
school should also use the Bible as their main go-to book.
By studying Christian Education, the main objective of it is to help a child
develop their personality harmoniously, let them know about Jesus and His
teaching so that they could accept Jesus as their savior. By that way we can live a
true Christian life. Christian Education should be taught in every Christian
household and every parent is responsible for teaching and guiding our children
about Jesus.
We also learn a brief role of a father as the head of the family, mother as a
supporter and are subjected to her husband, and the children must obey and
respect their children. For our children to grow up with the right moral ethics
parents must give them Christian education so that we may lead them to Christ
and they will also help others. Parents should make their home a social unit in
which the child is safe and free as he is part of the family.
There are also many Christian schools that went along with secular school
and studying the same subject. But, Christian schools stand out different than the
other secular school as it teaches the Biblical principle and children are rooted
and grounded in the Lord Jesus Christ. Christian schools are also operated in
obedience to God’s command but no Christian school can make or preserve
Christian.
