If you are using Windows 10, follow this tutorial from Step №1 – the process of disabling driver
signature mode is shown step-by-step on the pictures below!

If you are using Windows 7, Vista or any older, please skip to Step №8 directly!
1. Open the start menu, type 'startup' and choose "Change advanced startup options" from the
options:
7. When you see the following screen, press the ‚7‘ or F7 key. Windows will then load as usual.
Driver installation
8. Copy the folder named “OP-COM 120309a EN” from the CD you have received to an arbitrary
folder on your computer, preferably “C:\Program Files (x86)”. If you see the following warning,
select “Continue”:
10. Remove the checkmark from the “Read-only” box and select “OK”:
11. In the pop-up window make sure the option “Apply changes to this folder, subfolders and files”
is selected, as shown in the picture, and then select “OK”:
13. Connect your OP-COM diagnostics cable to a random USB port on your computer. Close any
pop-up windows that appear on connection.
14. Open the start menu again, type ‘device’ and from the results choose “Device manager”:
15. In the “Other devices” tab you will see an entry named “OP-COM USB V2” with an exclamation
mark next to it. Right-click it and select “Properties”:
22. (!) In the small window locate and open the folder “OP-COM 120309a EN” which we copied in
the beginning. Inside it open the folder “Drivers”:
25. The other windows should now list “OP-COM USB V2 Interface”. Select “Next” to continue:
26. The drivers will then begin to install. If at some point you see the following error window, select
“Install this driver software anyway”:
27. If the driver installation is successful, you should see the following window. Otherwise close all
windows, return to step №15 and repeat the process, selecting one of the folders named
“Driver” или “Drivers_x64” on step №22.
28. When the drivers install correctly, the entry “OP-COM USB V2 Interface” should be found in the
“Universal Serial Bus controllers” tab in “Device Manager”, without the exclamation mark next
to it. You can now close all windows.
Software testing
29. Locate the folder ”OP-COM 120309a EN” again and find the file named “OP-COM.exe”. Right-
click it and select “Properties”:
30. Open the “Compatibility” tab and place a tick in the “Run this program as an administrator” box.
Select “OK” to confirm the changes:
31. Right-click the same file and select “Send to” and “Desktop (create shortcut)” in order to create a
Desktop shortcut to the application:
32. Close all other windows and start the application from this shortcut. When the loading
completes, select “Settings”:
33. Select “Test Interface” to check whether the software recognizes the diagnostics cable correctly:
34. If the installation is successful, the pop-up window should display “Firmware version: V01.45”,
as seen on the picture. If there is something else written there, disconnect the cable from your
computer, connect it again and repeat the entire installation process from step №15 forwards.
