 OVERVIEW

Our Earth is a majestic surface with

many different regions like
mountains, deserts, coastal and
plains.

You are going to inquire into these

regions.
Choose any one of the 3 options OR
if you have another idea for your
project, share it with your teacher.

Due: 16th November 2022

 Option 1:
You can research about any of the different landforms and present your research in the form
of a 3D model, keynote presentation, powtoon video, poster, travel blog, brochure, etc.

Be creative: Can you use food products/ recyclable materials/

2D shapes or Minecraft and explain your landform?
 Option 2:
Create or design a board game for a region of your choice
that can be enjoyed by around 2-4 players.
Here are some

In your board game design, you may include:

- the geographic location of the region
- the activities that can be enjoyed in that region
- the natural resources and kinds of houses in that region
- the plants and animals that can be found in the region
- the weather, food and clothes of the region
- natural disasters that could affect the region
- some man made disasters that could affect the region

You may also keep the coordinate grid in mind and create a board game
where players could have to move in coordinates.
 Option 3:
Your friend has a long vacation coming up and he/she is
confused about the place he/she should visit for his/her
vacation. Convince him/her to visit a region that you have
already visited or plan to visit soon. What would you
suggest? A beach? A desert? A mountainous region? What
else can you think of?
Put your thinking caps on:
- Think about the kind of clothes he/she will need to pack for the holiday
to this region.
-Think about the itinerary he/she should plan for this region.
-Think about the kind of natural places he/she should visit.

You can choose to present in any way you like. Some possible options:
Keynote presentation, pictures, posters, brochure, travel blog, a video/audio
recording, an advertisement/a suitcase (real or like a folder)with clothes
(real or pictures) and places to visit in that region!
