Heart’s Day

Two best friends decided to set their friends up on a date. The other fell in love but will
the other fall under the same ate? Will things go the way they want it?

Setting: High school, café

Script:

Once upon a time, there were two best friends Jerane & Marian, who plans to set their friends
on a date.

While they were walking;

Jerane: This sunday, me and my boyfriend have plans to have a date in this newly opened
café, you should come with us, with your boyfriend.
Marian: Really? Send me the address, but I think I have plans with my long time
bestfriend, she’s been single since forever.
Jerane: That seems sad and boring at the same time. I also have a single friend. Should we
set them up?
Marian: Sure, but my friend is quite vulnerable, and fragile. She has a weak heart ever
since we were kids, but I want her to enjoy life like I do.
Jerane: I’m sure my friend won’t hurt your friend. They’ll be fine.

The two continued with their plans, until Sunday came…

Marian & Jerane on call:

Jerane: My friend is on his way, how about yours?
Marian: My friend is already there waiting, she’s wearing a purple dress.
Jerane: ok copy.

Jerane called chase to tell him that she had an urgent meeting to attend and she has a friend
waiting in the café.

Chase: Are you the friend of Jerane?

Heart: Yeah, did your friend cancelled too?
Chase: How did you know? This might me a setup,
Heart: Whatever, might as well enjoy my time here in the city.
Chase: Oh, you must be from the city downtown, I’ve always wanted to visit that place.
Heart: Yeah, I came here to meet with my childhood friend, I guess she had a change of
plans.

The two continued to spend the rest of the day together, and eventually plans on travelling
around the city the two met up almost every day, spend most of their time together, As time
goes by, Heart developed feelings for chase, then plans to confess to him on the day of
Valentines
Heart: I want to tell you something.
Chase: Me too! Do you want to go first?
Heart: let’s say it together then.
Chase: okay, 3
Heart: 2
Chase: 1
Heart: I like -
Chase: I have a boyfriend!
Heart: What?
Carl: Babe! Here’s your ice cream, and who is this person?
Chase: Oh, thank you! This is my friend Heart
Heart: oh hi, listen, I need to go, something came up.

After learning the truth, Heart began to run as far as she could, hoping the pain would go
away, until she realized she has gone too far and could not catch her breath. Due to the
exhaustion from running she started hyperventilating until she could no longer breathe and
