Stream: B.E/B Tech/M.Sc. (CS / IT / Electronics and Telecommunication) + Post Graduate course in
embedded technology

Competency required:
• Basic knowledge of Electronics, embedded software, and C programming,
Learning Attitude, Should be a good team player. Should have hands-on experience on embedded
software.
• Good understanding of 8/16/32-bit micro-controllers / processors and their architecture
• Understanding the hardware design and related requirements and schematics
• Understanding in firmware/middleware development for 16/32-bit processors
• Good Communication, Presentation, and analytical skill.

Profile Description:
• Conduct routine analysis, development, and validation work according to an established plan.
• Work closely with the engineering team for gathering an understanding of the project and should try
to find related problem resolution.
• Work on problems of limited scope, through the usage of standard programming concepts and
principles.
• Design, Development, verification, and validation of embedded software;
• Responsible for the development, support, and maintenance of one or many components of a given
project module. Works on complex problems using standard concepts and principles of programming
and validation (while using own judgment/experience to resolve the problems). Requires solid
understanding of at least one programming language/technology.
• Works as a team member under broad supervision.
• Record results and prepare design documents and validation reports, including conclusions and
recommendations, Should comply with the laid down quality system.
The associate is expected to further build on the Automotive electronics domain knowledge, Lear
products, proprietary to Lear skills to reach the next level of expertise.
