THE INFINITIVE
Verbs which end in AR
In English the infinitive is formed with the word TO.
Examples: TO invent (inventar), TO plant (plantar). You
might call the infinitive the TO form of the verb.
In Spanish most infinitives end in AR.
Note: Verbs which end in AR are known as verbs of the
first conjugation.
